Google Photo app on my Note 4 is using up almost 13GB of data. I’ve set the camera-app to store my pictures and videos on SD-card, but Google Photo app keeps downloading my pictures locally.
How can I reduce this? I keep on getting warning ⚠ my storage is full.

It doesn’t happen on my Nexus 7 or 5X. On the former I’ve been browsing photos most of the morning, and as a result have only about 150MB of data. I’m running the same version of Google Photos. Does look like a bug – I suggest sending feedback via the feedback menu in the app. I think Google gives that feedback the most attention.

I think this issue is with phoned that uses SD-card. It seem Google store my photos locally, and my camera-app store them in the SD-card..
